While in law school, Sarah served as a Note and Comment Editor of the Journal of Public Law, specifically focusing on Home and Marriage. She worked as a pro bono attorney her 3L year in the Civil Litigation Legal Clinic, where she successfully helped clients navigate their Social Security cases and various landlord/tenant actions. She also worked pro bono in the Criminal Defense Legal Clinic through Boston College where she frequently traveled to high security prisons throughout Boston to defend inmates in their informal behavior trials.

Sarah is a Teach for America alumni. She spent two years living in Dallas, Texas, teaching reading and social science to 9 th grade students at W.W. Samuell High School. Her first-year teaching, her students had the highest test scores in the district, with one of her classes boasting a 100 percent pass rate for the first time in the school’s history.
